Apple Compote


1 kilo of freshly sour apples (Goudreinetten) cut into cubes of approximately 1 cm
50 grams of almond shavings
50 grams of sugar (we prefer not to make the compôte too sweet)
100 grams of washed currants or raisins
2 cinnamon sticks
2 dl of water

Preparation of the apple compote

1 Put all the ingredients in the pan and let it come to a boil.

2 Cook over a high heat, stirring, for a few minutes.

3 Put the whole in the Ecostoof .

4 The apple compote is ready after 15 minutes.

Serve with roasted almond chips.
