Heat the sunflower oil in a large pan.
-

Let your Lugaw cook in the Ecostoof for 30 minutes.
-
Season with salt and pepper and finish with one or more toppings.
Preparation Lugaw with Chicken
-
Bring 1 cup of rice with 1.5 cups of water to a boil, cook for 3 minutes and place the pot in the Ecostoof for 20 minutes.
-
Boil the chicken breast in a pot of water until the chicken is tender.
-
Remove the chicken from the water, but don't throw the water away!
-
Shred the meat with 2 forks, as you would with pulled chicken.
-
Heat the sunflower oil in a large pan.
-
Sauté onion, garlic and ginger until translucent. If, like me, you don't like hard pieces of ginger, make sure they are extra fine.
-
Add the shredded chicken and fry for another 2 minutes.
-
Add the rice, the water in which the chicken was cooked, and the stock cube. If it still doesn't look like porridge, you can add some more water.
-
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 2 minutes.
-
Let your Arroz Caldo cook in the Ecostoof for 15 minutes.
-
Season with salt and pepper and finish with one or more toppings.
