Nasi Goreng EcoStoof

Ingredients

400 grams organic pork belly, diced

2 tablespoons sunflower oil

350 grams pandan rice

600 ml water

1 bag (600 grams) pre-cut Chinese stir-fry vegetables

1 bell pepper, cut into small pieces

1 tub (90 grams) Boemboe Nasi Goreng

Salt and pepper to taste

Sweet soy sauce (ketjap manis) and sambal to taste

Ready-made fried onions and prawn crackers as toppings

Preparation

  1. Heat the sunflower oil and fry the pork belly cubes for approx. 4 min.
  2. Add the stir-fry vegetables and bell pepper and cook for approx. 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the rice and the Boemboe Nasi Goreng seasoning mix.
  4. Add 600 ml water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes with the lid on the pan.
  5. Place in the EcoStoof for 45 minutes.
  6. Season with sweet soy sauce and sambal and serve with fried onions and prawn crackers.
